A folding luggage stand. – not so sure
- Piles of pillows. – yup
- Hooks and hangers. – nice idea
- A coffee bar. – not so sure, come and socialise !
- A well-outfitted bed side table. (water glass, small bowl for things) – nice.
- Fresh flowers. – depends
- Robes and slippers. – not sure about the slippers
I’ve got some ideas for a table made from recycled wood and maybe recycled steel. The more of the house (build, materials AND furniture) can be recycled:
- Built in a way that can be recycled in the future
- Be built from materials that have had a previous life

Saw this in a hallway in a bar near Covent Garden.
Great idea, put old chair backs into a big log and you’ve got a bench.
It recycles the old chairs (especially if the rest of the chair is wrecked) and locks up a bit more carbon by using the tree trunk.
It’s a big dinning area, so it’ll need a big table.
Hopefully made from timbers reclaimed out of the original Silver Spray bungalow.
And then maybe benches or a collection of second hand chairs, that don’t match each other or the table.
Get “industrial” big metal legs / frame for the table by finding something that can be recycled to this use:
